Family Dentistry
Family Dentistry is something we offer here at Crotty dental as we believe that to instil good dental hygiene practices it all begins with familiarising ourselves and feeling comfortable within the practice you attend as well as building that trust with your dentist. We believe this is achievable when you have been coming to the same practice/dentist for years and through generations.
Our dentists pride themselves on their gentle and informative approach to all patients making us a comfortable place to attend with the whole family. We even understand how sometimes its impossible to gather together all the troops for these appointments and have catered for this with offering our “Monday Family nights” in which we are happy from 3:30pm onwards to take on group bookings so you and your family can have their annual check up appointments one after one another rather than spreading them across various days! We also offer this on Saturdays as well making it easy for those families that find the working week way too hectic to attend!
How often should we all come?
Regular check-up and cleans are recommended every 6/12 months depending on your dentists’ recommendations as some people develop plaque quicker than others.
These regular check ups allow your dentist the chance to remove any build up that has occurred during those months and to ensure that no issues have started to arise or have arisen since your last visit. This way we are able to get on to any issues early to avoid any further invasive treatment down the line.
These regular visits will also help familiarise yourself with the practice and the procedures to avoid any anxiety when it comes to attending.
